As co-founder and President of TELUS International Philippines (TIP), Javier oversees state-of-the-art customer contact centers providing a full range of cost-effective, high-quality customer care, technical support, sales and back-office solutions to leading U.S.-based companies in the utilities, IT, travel and hospitality, telecommunications and financial services industries. Javier spends most of his time interacting with clients and engaging with employees at all levels. Culture building is a core focus, ensuring that the TIP team remains inspired to deliver the best services possible to clients and their end-customers. Javier led the company through its start-up roots as a 5-person team to over 8,000 Manila-based team members, agents and IT developers in 2009.
Prior to TELUS International Philippines, from 2000 to 2002, Javier was a Strategy Consultant for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he provided his expertise assisting leading corporations to create and sustain their competitive advantage. From 1997 to 1999, Javier was a Business Development Manager with Alltel Information Services, a subsidiary of Alltel Corporation (NYSE:AT).
Javier has a Management Engineering degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines and an MBA in Business from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
