Eng Boon Lau CEO Upon becoming CEO of TELUS International in 2004, Eng Boon established TI's role as the global arm of TELUS. This strategic role involves extending the capability of TELUS to service international customers while bringing about better value through cost effective delivery options from TI's overseas operations. A strong focus on engaging the market as TEAM TELUS has also resulted in TELUS International's strong and profitable growth. Eng Boon has over 20 years of diverse management experience in the military, business operations, startups, and Asia Pacific branches of large multi-national corporations. He has worked for the Singaporean Air Force, and multinational companies such as Accenture, Honeywell, Cap Gemini and Avanade. In 1996, Eng Boon was appointed as Honorary Aide-de-Camp to the President of Singapore. In 1998, he was named National Serviceman of the Year while serving in the Singaporean Airforce reserves. Eng Boon also served on the Singapore Civil Resources Compensation Board from 1999-2003, and is a board member of United Pulp and Papers, a Singapore Stock Exchange listed company. Eng Boon has an Engineering degree from Kobe University in Japan and an MBA from the National University of Singapore. |
